Lazos Académicos was born in 2019 as an informative virtual publication that adresses interest topics related to the work of the Academic Vice-Chancellor's Office and its attached dependencies. Its sections tell what is happening in our academic community: events, achievements, advances and relevant news.

Creating our newsletter reflects the reason for being of the Vice-Chancellor's Office, and the mission of Universidad del Valle. Lazos Académicos existence attends the need to be aware of what unites us as an academic community, to make the achievements of the Vice-Chancellor's Office visible and to constitute a dissemination channel that helps to show the impact of our University in Valle del Cauca society.

The correlation between the institution, students, professors, directors, and community in general reminds us that we are constantly connected, that there are common goals, ties that keep us together to advance as individuals and promote the development of our environment, region and country through knowledge, research and academic excellence.
