¿What is an agreement?

An agreement is a group of wills signed between two or more institutions, in this case, between the UniSee moresidad del Valle and another Colombian or international institution or organization, in which the terms or bases of cooperation and the obligations and commitments of the parties are established, oriented to the development of projects of common interest.

Definition

A framework agreement is a document in which the parties express their willingness to cooperate, from broad guidelines to achieve reciprocal collaboration aimed at the joint promotion of projects in the academic, scientific, research, extension, and social projection fields, among others. The development of the activities materializes with the signing of specific agreements in which the particular conditions to perform them are defined. At the UniSee moresidad del Valle, the framework agreements can be: 1) Cooperation between IES -Higher education institutions-, 2) Of Inter-administrative Cooperation, and 3) Of Inter-institutional Cooperation.

Cooperation Agreement between IES

They are agreements between two or more higher education institutions, national or international, of a public or private nature, to carry out scientific and technological activities, academic projects, research, and technology creation, which do not give rise to the birth of a new legal person. Under these agreements, the institutions contribute with resources of different kinds to facilitate, promote, develop and commonly achieve some of the outlined purposes. In this kind of agreement, there is no solidarity regime between the institutions since each will be responsible for the obligations that assume. The ownership of all the results obtained and the rights oSee more them must be specific. The contractual obligations must be defined, especially those labor obligations that the parties assume, and resource management can be held through a fiduciary commission or any other administration system. Inter-administrative cooperation agreement

Inter-administrative agreements are celebrated among state entities to join forces allowing them to fulfill its mission or objectives. When state entities concur in agreements of wills devoid of any particular and selfish interest, the fundamental claim is the service of the general interests of society and are developed based on the principles of equality, morality, efficiency, economy, speed, fairness and publicity. Interinstitutional cooperation agreement

An inter-institutional cooperation agreement is any act celebrated between an institution and other legal persons of public or private law, national or foreign, which purpose is to take advantage of each other's resources or strengths.

The difference between inter-institutional cooperation agreements among public institutions and inter-administrative agreements is that the purpose of these is the particular interest of the institutions, and therefore the intention is the benefit of the parties and not the general interests of the society. See survey.

Definition

It is the agreement that opens specific cooperation possibilities between the participating institutions or organizations, in which the areas of knowledge, specific activities, obligations and financial commitments of the parties are determined, as well as the academic units that will be in charge of its implementation.

Mobility or exchange agreement

These agreements are intended to develop reciprocal exchange programs between national or international higher-level educational institutions, which allow the mobility of students to carry out studies and/or uniSee moresity internships.See survey. 

Professional practice agreement - internship

They are activities developed by uniSee moresity students through agreements signed with the UniSee moresity and public or private companies as internships, which are a prerequisite for obtaining the corresponding degree.See survey

Professional practice agreement - teaching-service

Through this agreement, a functional bond is established between the UniSee moresidad del Valle and other organizations, to train human talent in health or between educational institutions when at least one of them has health practice scenarios. This link is based on a long-term academic, administrative, and research planning process, agreed upon the parties of the teaching-service relationship.See survey

Apprenticeship contract

They are contracts that are signed between the sponsoring company and the UniSee moresidad del Valle with the signature of the apprentice, these contracts have special characteristics and, despite not generating a working relationship with the student (apprentice), a Current Minimum Monthly Salary must be paid and the student must be affiliated on behalf of the company to EPS and ARP.

Joint academic offer agreement

The joint academic offer agreements are those aimed at defining, without prejudicing the autonomy of the parties, to determine the clauses of the document, the conditions for the offer and development of academic programs between UniSee moresidad del Valle and one or more national or foreign higher education institutions, legally recognized. For advanced training in master's and doctoral programs, agreements may be signed with research institutes or centers. The ownership of the corresponding qualified registry, the place of development of the same, the academic and qualification responsibilities will be regulated between the parties in each agreement, subject to the provisions established by the Law.

Joint guardianship agreement

This agreement is the instrument that regulates the provisions in which the thesis, research work, or degree work will be carried out in a shared way between two uniSee moresities, and the administrative and financial modalities applicable for this purpose. Consequently, the student has two guiding professors or thesis supervisors, one at the home uniSee moresity and the other at the destination uniSee moresity. The thesis has a unique defense in the uniSee moresity of origin.See survey

Double degree agreement

These agreements are intended to regulate the provisions in which the training activity of the undergraduate or graduate student will be carried out, and the 4 administrative and financial modalities applicable so that he obtains two degrees, one from the UniSee moresidad del Valle and another from the other foreign or national higher education institution. The agreement indicates the rights and duties, both for the student and for the participating institutions and is based on the principle of reciprocity, by which each institution recognizes the validity of the training process carried out in each one, and undertakes to issue the degree in both uniSee moresities independently. Joint tutelage may lead to obtaining a double degree as long as it is established in the agreement.See survey

Scholarship agreement

Agreements signed by the UniSee moresidad del Valle with public or private institutions, through which said institutions grant financial aid to undergraduate and/or graduate students, to fully or partially pay the financial tuition through the allocation of scholarships.See survey
