The Institutional Program for Entrepreneurs was created by the Universidad del Valle with the purpose of generating transformation processes both internally and for the environments in which it has an impact, from its entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer projects, with which it hopes to offer new perspectives, approaches, instruments and ways of thinking of the various actors linked to local and regional entrepreneurship. In particular, it seeks to influence the entrepreneurial potential of its students and graduates, promoting commitment to innovation and social-environmental responsibility, to become entrepreneurial leaders who transform society. The Entrepreneurs Program is positioned as a space for the ideation, determination, formulation and accompaniment of the Entrepreneurship Processes of students and graduates of the University, through various strategies among which the following stand out:

Formation

The training activities seek to promote the development of entrepreneurship projects. For this purpose, four (4) complementary elective subjects were designed that make up the General Entrepreneurship Strip, where a sequence of prerequisites for the development of the process is created.

Entrepreneurship Route

The Entrepreneurship Route is a training space made up of four stages in which students will be able to apply their professional skills in the preparation of a business plan proposal and in the development of the necessary procedures for the creation and commercial registration of a company. The creation of a business is motivated by the identification and study of opportunities, and not by the need for income for subsistence.

• Ideation workshop, with Design Thinking methodology. Validation workshop. Based on the Lean Startup methodology.
• Business plan and model workshop. Supported in Business Model Canvas.
• Advice and accompaniment to entrepreneurs for calls.

Entrepreneurship Consulting

The Entrepreneurs Program provides personalized advice to students who have a business idea. This accompaniment seeks to structure entrepreneurship projects that can be presented in calls and/or competitions, in order to obtain seed capital.

UV Ágora

Annual meeting that seeks to bring together the different sectors of the community to participate in a space for training and business growth. With a congruent and focused theme, it seeks to provide 100% applicable fundamentals and tools adjusted to the reality of the entrepreneur and micro-entrepreneur in the region.
