Admision

Every semester, Universidad del Valle carries out its admission calls. For that purpose, the Academic Council approves -by Resolution- those Academic Programs that will be offered in each of its Academic units and branches, also the quotas, the minimum scores required for enrollment (given by the State Exam for Secondary Education), the specific scores assigned to the areas evaluated by the State Education and the Specific Admission Tests for the Academic Programs that require them as additional selection criteria.

Students selection

  1. An order is made from lowest to highest grade in each area in which the Academic Program has assigned specific burdens.
  1. The position held by the applicant in each area will be multiplied by the specific burden the Program assigned. The specific burden will also be applied to the Specific Admission Tests, for those Programs requiring them.
  1. The products are added and the ordering is established, according to this sum, from highest to lowest.
  1. Applicants who obtain the best positions in the ordered list are admitted, according to the number of places offered by the Program.

The results of the admission process are published on the agreed date on the Admissions Area Web page and in a newspaper with wide regional circulation

Detailed information on each of the steps the admitted person must take to formalize enrollment (financial and academic), will be obtained by entering the digital locker using the access code acquired before to register. This locker is personal.
