Academic incentives are institutional support offered by the University to career teachers, consisting of the allocation of full-time or part-time, or the granting of economic benefits, as the case may be, for them to carry out academic activities or research aimed at qualifying their knowledge or professional skills through postgraduate studies, postdoctoral residences, or participation in events or academy activities, as long as they are directly related to the area of work of the teacher and the projects or development plans of the academic unit to which it is attached.
Through Resolution No. 072 of November 14, 2014, the Superior Council issued the regulations corresponding to academic incentives for teacher development.
