The Research and Creation Seedbeds Program seeks to encourage and motivate the involvement of undergraduate students in research activities as a fundamental part of their training. It is a space for research education and training, designed to foster in students a culture and research habits, a creative approach to research methods and their linkage in active research projects, registered by professors, groups, centers or research institutes formally recognized by the University, through the following options:

Call to support Bachelor's Degree Projects
The internal call for the Research and Creation Seedbed Program was created, with the purpose of promoting the articulation between research and training activities at the undergraduate level. It consists of the implementation of support for the completion of the degree work of students enrolled in an academic program of the Universidad del Valle, who are part of the Research and Creation Seedbeds Program.

Competition for the best Bachelor's Projects - Otto de Greiff
The Otto de Greiff National Competition is a contest created by the National University of Colombia, in a joint effort with the University of Antioquia, the University of the Andes, the Pontifical Bolivarian University, the EAFIT University, the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the Universidad del Norte, the Universidad del Rosario, the Universidad Industrial de Santander and the Universidad del Valle. in order to strengthen their inter-institutional relations to promote research and academic communities. This competition evaluates the best undergraduate and undergraduate projects carried out in the year prior to the announcement of the Competition, in each of the member Universities. Works that have been selected through an internal competition, among those that obtained honorable, meritorious, laureate or special awards, participate.
The objective is to highlight and stimulate those degree projects that deserve the recognition of the university community due to their quality, in order to promote research activity in the training of new professionals.
